The HISTORIC MASONIC THEATRE opened 1905 as an opera house and is currently undergoing a full restoration in 2015-16. The HISTORIC MASONIC THEATRE has served the Alleghany Highlands 100+ years as a performing arts & movie theatre. The MASONIC AMPHITHEATRE won the 2012 Architects Building of the Year and was constructed by the designbuildLAB Team from Virginia Tech.
